Portway Contracts is owned and operated by David Platt.
After undertaking a five-year apprenticeship in the UK in 1984 with M.J.Maund & sons, David started his own company there and continued right up until he and his family emigrated to Perth in 2009.
Portway Painting is a small but efficient company which can carry out the smallest of jobs to the biggest of jobs and work within timescales to fit in around all our clients.
Portway Painting uses all the major paint brands, Solver, Taubmans, Dulux, British Paints to name a few. Like the tallest buildings need solid foundations to withstand the test of time, Portway Painting’s foundations are equally solid and that the quality of workmanship on display will also stand the test of time.
At Portway Painting, we accept the importance of the environment that we are working in and more often than not, we use paint materials without Volatile Organic Compounds or VOC’s for short. Paints without VOC’s in them are much less pungent and can be known to help with asthma sufferers and people with other forms of breathing difficulties.
